Hotel Catalonia Riviera Maya

I stayed here late January 2021; Weather was nice despite the season.The place is beautiful and has a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were amazing, everyone was very courteous and amiable, they responded quickly to our needs and requests; they even took care of our COVID-19 tests on a timely matter. I am more than happy with my stay at the Catalonia Riviera Maya. The only thing I didn’t enjoy as much the food, but for the rest, my stay was perfect.

Booked before COVID-19 for May 2020 and have not received my refund due to pandemic. I've send several emails and all I've been told is that it's still getting processed the two recent emails I have sent this month have not received a response at all. Please return my refund. Its almost September 2020 and no refund other cruise ships and hotels have already returned my money. In response to your reply: Why would I check with other agency if Catalonia Riviera is shown on my bank statement when my money was charged right away after I booked the hotel? And now apparently its taking you guys 4 months for you to return a refund?

Had an amazing honeymoon here, lots to do, extremely friendly and accommodating staff. We upgraded to a Privileged room which is highly recommended considering the difference in food at the restaurants compared to the free buffet for all guests. Also the wildlife is friendly and undisturbed!

Nice hotel, we loved our stay there! Location is good, room was clean, but may need updates. Staff was pleasant and helpful! Views are also pretty, but the beach is awkward.

This was our first trip to Cancun, we came for new year's so I picked a 4 star hotel, which this is not but it is nice. The room is small and the decor is dated, but it's very clean and the bed was comfortable.I typically stay where I can have an ocean front room, their rooms are ocean view ..which was beautiful. The staff is incredibly nice, I've never been around more gracious hosts. Our trip was during Covid so some of suggestions may already be in place...suggestions are to have daily activities, something for adults at night, offer the buffet all day. We got hungry and found out we couldn't get anything until 6:30...
