Iberostar Paraiso Beach

Been here 5 times to this iberostar complex highly recommended for both quality and consistenty.

The resort grounds, staff, rooms and overall accommodations were great. The restaurants available were below average and the buffet lacked the culinary excellence. We (family of 6) had a great time for the first 5 days, until day 6, when my 2 year old (who slept in a crib provided by the resort) suddenly came down with a 103 fever in the middle of the night and obtained a staph infection all over his face (my guess is, possibly due to unclean or contaminated crib or bedding). On day 7 (check out), I also became very ill, filled with abdominal pain, which landed me in the hospital for 3 days upon my return home, which led to be being injected with morphine to subdue to the pain, (doctors determined it may have been something I ate while at the resort - possibly contaminated food). I've been to Mexico numerous times - each time it had its minor hiccups (which happens), but after this last visit to Mexico at this particular resort, I will never step foot in Mexico again!!

Be prepared for a MASSIVE and sprawling resort. The walk from the beach to the main lobby is almost ten minutes, so if you can catch one of the small shuttles it is definitely worth it if you don't feel like walking. The beach itself is pretty nice, plenty of area to swim. There are people trying to sell stuff on the beach, and don't leave your food unattended. There are a lot of animals around that will come and snatch it no matter how close humans are to them. The pool is really huge, and they sometimes have organized games going on. The only problems we had were that the air conditioning in our room didn't function correctly, and that food wasn't great. It was good, but there were only a few great meals. Definitely go to the Japanese restaurant if possible. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I have been staying at Paraiso beach for the last 3 years!!! I love the resort it is so big ad they have amazing customer service. I enjoy the entertainment every night, and they make people feel involved and at home. I am going again this year in October I cant wait!!!!

This resort is by far the best resort I have ever stayed at. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The rooms are beautiful and the cleaning staff is incredible. There are workers always cleaning the resort and the service is fantastic. The beach was a little crowded at times but that's to be expected. The pool is not as busy for the amount of people on the resort so it makes up for the beach. The pool is BEAUTIFUL and huge with 3 swim up bars. There is always some type of entertainment at the pool or the beach and the night time entertainment at the theatre is amazing!! The entertainment staff are incredibly talented. The restaurants are never crowded and the food is SO good!!! I didn't bring my child with me but they have a bunch of stuff to do for kids! They also have a shopping centre on site with an amazing mexican taco restaurant! I would recommend this resort to anyone looking. It says it is a 4/4.5 star but it actually is a 5 in my opinion. I can't say enough good things about this place and I will be returning yearly! I will recommend this resort to everyone I know! You will not be disappointed!
