Villa Balu Hotel Boutique

I was pleased with this little hotel, the rooms were spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The back patio was a nice touch; it was an enjoyable stay. But the highlight had to be Guillermo at the front desk, and he was absolutely brilliant. He was always extremely attentive, gave me great recommendations and went above in beyond his duty to make me feel welcomed. I will be back! Thank Guillermo!

We had a great time at this hotel. The decor and lighting is very warm and relaxing. Thank you to the staff for the clean room, and fresh towels. Everything was perfect! I can not wait to come back!

Simple, but very clean

Villa Balu was nice place to stay. Located in the center of Bacalar and was closed to the restaurant and the Laguna. Parking just outside of the hotel. The rooms were really nice with a safe box, AC and hot shower. There was a lovely garden. Wifi wasn't so good.

Very small but really nice hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Location is good as well. Definitely recommended
