Holbox Whale Shark Tours

The captain was great but don't expect a guided tour. He really just took us from place to place. We did spot a school of dolphins though!

Scam! Worse experience ever! We were left on a beach, and the boat did not come back to pick us up. We were basically stranded on a beach with the sun almost down and mosquitos waking up. We had to take another company s boat who rescued us. Worse, they didn’t even want to give us our money back (1700 pesos~80 euros). This company is not even bad, it is a dangerous scam.

We went on a whale shark tour with these guys. Fantastic day out. We were slightly worried it would be a zillion people trying to swim with one shark but this was not the case. There were around 50 whale sharks and we had ample time to swim. It was all very respectful. Our guide was Pacho and he was super friendly and a brilliant guide.

Amazing experience with knowledgeable and generous staff. I would recommend any beginners learn how to check your equipment, personal safety check is invaluable.

Great experience. I went out fishing with Carlos who gave fantastic service. We ended the trip by enjoying freshly made Ceviche prepared by Carlos on the boat.
