My fiance and I came to Playa Del Carmen October 7, 2020 during the pandemic. We knew once we got here that there could be a chance with the pandemic that we may not be able to go home. Sure enough all of our flights are canceled and now stuck here in Mexico. Our first month we stayed in an all-inclusive. That was very costly. Feeling stress, I looked up rental agencies in Playa Del Carmen. Boy am I glad to have met Magdalena Fernandez. I called her on a Sunday morning. It was pouring rain, she took us around an area we know nothing about. Gladly to say after looking at 4 places, she got us the place we wanted and the price we were able to afford. She witnessed the signing of the contract to protect us and follow up with us every now and then. Magdalena is a very hard working mom and she is a professional. She cares and respected our needs. It was an absolute pleasure working with Playa Rentals & Sales. We contacted several companies once we decided to look into a long term rental here in Playa Del Carmen. They were the most responsive and helpful in those early stages of the process. We were lucky enough to work with Luis Castillo from Playa Rentals and he did an amazing job! He walked us through how the whole process would work. He asked us all the right questions to help find us the best options available. He gave us realistic expectations on condos that we were interested in and sent us additional pictures and videos of our options prior to us coming down to view them in person. Of course this whole process is more complicated with the current pandemic but Luis has gone above and beyond to comply with health and safety regulations and made us feel very safe and secure with our decision to come down here to Playa. We are now living in Playa Del Carmen and Luis continues to be a great friend helping us navigate this new place. He’s given us great recommendations on his favorite restaurants, places to visit and excursions that we might be interested in. Luis and the people at Playa Rentals & Sales made this experience as smooth and easy as possible. We would definitely recommend them above all others to find an amazing place to live in the Riviera Maya.

I worked with Luis to secure a long term rental in Playa Del Carmen. I was sent several offers by email while I was in the USA before we traveled to PDC to view some great options . Luis worked with a local attorney to draft the lease at a very reasonable fee. As an attorney myself, it was important to work with someone I could trust and would use an attorney to make sure the owner and my interests are protected. Luis also speaks perfect English. Luis was excellent. We moved from LA to Tulum and in a market with many real estate agents (we met with a lot), Luis really stands out from the crowd. He is very professional, responsive, knows Tulum and Playa del Carmen like the back of his hand, and friendly. He listened to our needs and helped us find the perfect apartment.
