If you like having AC keeping your room cool DO NOT COME HERE
Overall I think it is a very beautiful resort, modern and the design is nice. The closer you look you realize a lot of the materials are quite cheap, the built in lounge chairs in the pool were awesome. Staff was nice, not as over the top as other resorts in Riviera Maya. Coffee shop was delicious! Lazy River was weird there is a separation where you come in and get out you can only go through once and you have to get out as it dead ends. The food and shows were okay. The beach is quite rocky and a little disappointing. The sky bar was cute but compared to other resorts this one just felt kind of dull. The AC in your room does NOT run without a room key sitting inside of a holder to turn it on and we never once felt like the room got cool, we eventually wised up to have one persons key in the holder while we were out of the room so we weren’t sweating in our room at the end of the day. I know a lot of places prefer energy efficient options and limit how cool you can set your room but it was VERY uncomfortable especially if traveling with little ones who need naps in the day/ when the sun is beating in. The rooms were very nice though
I am never going back there. I loved the hotel and everything was great including the service, I even saw turtles swimming in the sea right outside the hotel. I just can't believe it's 2021 and they still hold captive animals like it's nothing. They have a swimming with dolphins facility inside the hotel besides the spa, I was sick when I saw this. This should be illegal by now. I rather search for a hotel that cares about animals and the environment especially in a place like the Riviera Maya where they should take care or the beautiful diversity and country they have.
in this hotel first time i saw how hotel staff trying to sell `holidays for life` for very good money:), exactly for me holidays for life was cost nearly 18000$
We just returned from a stay here. The resort was ok, the food was substandard, and the language barrier was an issue. Our BIGGEST complaint is that one of the cleaning ladies stole my jacket out of my luggage. We were told to use the in-room safe for locking up valuables, which we did. I never would of imagined that I would of had to lock up my clothing. Very disappointed in the cleaning staff and the hotel's response to the theft. Obviously, they need to do a better screening job of their employees. Totally disappointed in this hotel.
This property is a mediocre 2-star property at best. The quality of food (even at a-la-carte) was 2-star and the quality of alcohol was terrible zero-star (served out of plastic bottles).
The only positive aspect of this resort was their entertainment and kids club. Waist of money and time. Falsely advertise as 4-star when it’s only two star.
Mostly catered to European and native standards. If you are expecting 4-star service you will be in for a terrible surprise!
Pros: The rooms were decent, and entertainment for kids was decent.
Food and beverage was a horrible experience. Horrible quality of alcohol. Food at the buffet was sad and despicable.
We had the opportunity to extend our trip for two weeks, but given the bad experience was left early and checked into another resort that we stayed in August. We will not be returning to this sad and depressing resort.
