La Ceiba Grafica, Coatepec, Veracruz, Mex. is a dream come through for a graphic artist who wants to explore an authentic lithographic experience that includes the use of Mexican marble and Mexican made print presses, all within the beauty and vibrancy of the state of Veracruz. Artists in residence are available in this old renovated hacienda, now transformed into a state of the arts lithographic centre. To enhance the experience further, artists may wonder into the Paper Factory, the product of another community-roots incitative also spearheaded by the Maestro Per Anderson, a Swedish expatriate settled in Mexico for many years. Other wonders include the Jardin de Esculturas / Garden of Sculptures of Jalapa, the neighbouring town; the Festival del Son Jarocho / Festival of the Jarocho sound beat, and many other amazing cultural and geographical experiences such as the archeological museums, rainforest ecosystems, authentic regional cuisine and more...
