We went there on a Saturday to buy books and even though they were officially closed they opened the store, let us walk through and find some good books and made us great coffee. The staff were really nice and friendly and the coffee was the best we’ve had in Tulum! They also buy books and you can return the ones you’ve read and get 50% return. Highly recommended!

The best coffee shop in town. We spent a week in tulum and after trying a few other spots this was probably one the best places. The coffee was amazing and the atmosphere of the place is simply wonderful. Great people, amazing service. They also have an outdoor area where you can drink your coffee and read one of the many books they have around their place. Bathrooms were clean.

I cannot even begin to tell you how much I LOVE this place!! Let me count the ways: 1. There are BOOKS!!! A lot in English - ROOMS OF BOOKS - my favourite is the middle room. - also check out the secret little book nook off of the main cafe part! 2. The staff are super friendly and helpful 3. Great food and drinks and PIE!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg the almond croissants - I have fantasies about them. Also fantastic sandwiches! Everything I've had to eat or drink there has been wonderful!! 4. They have a great garden with tables and chairs 5. They often foster kittens and are pet friendly 6. They sometimes have live concerts - aired live to Facebook during covid times! 7. They have craft classes (in my favourite middle room) 8. They support local businesses 9. This place is basically my freakin' fantasy and I can never get enough of it! Am so so grateful that it exists and even though I live almost an hour drive away - it is well worth going to enjoy the chill vibes and great food and drinks AND BOOKS AND KITTENS!!!!!

I recently just left Tulum after a 2 month stay and I'm already missing the wonderful staff at Cara Feliz! As a medical student I loved finding different internet cafes to study from and when I found this place I never left. Alex, Joel, Victoria, and Maria were all amazing and treated me with great hospitality every time I came to study. They have great wifi speed and have indoor and outdoor seating. Also most of the staff speaks English as well in case you're Spanish is rusty. Overall, I would give them a 12/10 and can't wait to go back when I return to Tulum. 😊

Very quite small book store and coffe shop. They have books in English, including kids books. Books are mostly used. They also accept used books for small credit towards to your purchase. They some garden space and a space for workshops - when I was there, there was a a painting/drawing class for kids in place.
