DayTripper Hostel

One of the cheapest places to stay in Tulum. The location is great and it also includes a breakfast. There is a lot of people in the dorms but it’s great that all beds have curtains for extra privacy. Of course at this price the hostel is not that clean and there is rarely hot water. I was even there when there was not water at all. The staff is really friendly and chill. Overall if you only need a bed to stay the night you are going to be fine. It might however be a good thing to pay some extra pesos and go to a place with more space and better facilities. Also ask for a bottom bed because dorms and specially top bed get really hot at night.

Good location with plenty streetfood around. 8bed dorms are actually 16 bed ones.

Very clean and quiet hostel. Excellent service and late check-in available upon request. Had a pleasant stay for a week here .

Day 4 still Noisy. Management to control noise pollution doesn't do anything. Can't get any sleep. Even if the doors and windows are closed you could hear people. Walls are too thin I guess.

Friendly staff, however horrible infrastructure and cleanliness. Cold shower, comum areas all dirty, sometimes no water and energy, equipment in the kitchen not working and the fridge is disgusting.
