Hotel Tulum Inn

DO NOT BOOK! This hotel does not exist anymore. We booked through Expedia and got an email the morning of the reservation saying that "There has been a problem with the hotel" and they tried to send us to Cancun. We tried to call the hotel to see what the problem was, but there was no answer. Expedia Customer Service didn't receive an answer either. The hotel in Cancun said they have not been in business with Tulum Inn since July 2020. So, we drive to Tulum Inn and the person behind the desk said the hotel has been under new management with a different name since July 2020. Workers at the cafe next door also said the same thing. This is a scam and I promise that any reviews you see on this hotel (at least since July 2020) that say anything different are fake.

SCAM. I booked a two-night stay at Tulum Inn in December 2020. The 'new management' would not recognize the booking taken by the 'old management' and wanted to charge more money for the stay. I left and found another hotel. You should, too. Stay clear of this place.

Ok for the price but very noise with traffic all night long.

Clean spacious rooms and good value. A little walk to the main part of town but convenient located next to an oxxo and bike rental shop. We had a late midnight bus and had a long wait, their waiting lounge with tea/coffee, TV and sofas was really useful. Would stay again if in Tulum.

You get exactly what u pay for a clean room, friendly staff a parking spot and a continental breakfast. The room is clean, the staff is friendly the location is perfect for ruins and just to explore tulum. I am very satisfied.
