Ive stayed in probably 100 different hostels all over the world and this is by far one of my favorites! The ambience of the place is great and makes you feel like you're at a classy hotel. The staff is amazing and make you feel like family. Each bunk is a queen sized bed which is unheard of for a hostel and really makes this place one of the best hostels in the world in my opinion. They also have a bar/restaurant that serves amazing cocktails! Highly recommend this place and I'll be staying here every time I come to Tulum!

This hostel has a good location - right next to the ADO bus stop. And it does its job of being a hostel. But comparing to other hostels, it's not homey, unique. It doesn't feel like a place you want to stay a long time. Pros: FREE HIGH QUALITY WIFI, friendly front desk, coworking space, queen beds, comfortable pillows, warm blankets, free towels. Cons: water is timed in facets, water pressure in showers is horrible, no decor, no hammocks, lack of chairs and benches in the common area, no lockers. Last, but not least, on Friday there is a loud music at the hostel and next door has a live band, so that the music and the guests are up till about 12-1 am.:)))

Found them on Airbnb with a private room at $8 USD per night. Called the property to see if I could get this rate directly with them (and avoid the Airbnb service and cleaning fees) and the hostel confirmed this was okay. The next day, I received an email saying the price I was told on the phone was a mistake and they instead wanted double the cost at $16 per night for the private room instead. I decided to accept the price change, but would only stay for 4 nights, not the initial 10 I had planned. When I responded to their email to confirm, I was then told something entirely different. They stated I would now need to book via Airbnb (with a cleaning fee higher then the room cost) or pay $40 per night to them directly for the private room. This is is in contrast to their earlier email where they said $16 per night was fine to pay through them directly, and their earlier phone call where $8 was okay. The disorganization of the staff and conflicting statements around pricing, coupled with other negative reviews, has me looking elsewhere. Management needs to get it together.

I have traveled to over 20+ countries and usually stay in either hotels or hostels. This took aspects from both and turned my stay in to a wonderful resort experience. All of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Also if you don't speak spanish, don't worry. All of the staff I met was bilingual and ended up teaching me alot of spanish to navigate around easier. I can't wait for my next stay, I really loved all of their daily activities.
