Coco Tulum

We enjoyed our stay here. There are two sides of the hotel as stated on their website “Zen Zone” and “Coco Beach Club” but it wasn’t clear that there is actually a separate property in between the two sides. So with our group of people spread out in 5 rooms, we wish we had all been on one side to be closer. The rooms vary greatly throughout the property. The Coco Beach Club side is definitely nicer. We paid more for an Oceanfront Suite on the Zen Zone side but our room was much smaller than the others and had a side window that made us more exposed. It’s too bad the website doesn’t give more specifics about the individual rooms you’re booking. Some of the best rooms were Garden View rooms tbh. Staff was great, nice having breakfast included although the staff at breakfast could be better. Beach is amazing, the beach club is perfect, location good as well. Free parking made things convenient since we had a rental. Would stay again but request a specific room or ask for options at check in next time. Great value overall.

The stay at Cocoa Toulon was a fantastic experience, the staff is top of the line and they are more than willing to help you with anything you need when it comes to getting around in Tulum. Particularly I worked with Rodrigo and he was very helpful in booking some of the nicest clubs and restaurants in Tulum. Also I highly recommend the beachfront huts as it is a once in a lifetime experience. Stay at Cocoa to him hotel you will not regret it. clubs and restaurants in Tulum.

Happy wife happy life! Pretty good location and pretty beach. I wouldn’t call it a beach club but they play good ambiance music all day. Our only issue was that the internet didn’t work through out our whole stay.

Extremely terrible service from Manuel, the manager of the waiters at the beach. He was extremely rude, accused and harassed me and my friends of buying illicit drugs (which was not true), and tried to kick us out. We have never experienced so much rudeness and terrible service in Tulum. Our waiter Carlos was incredible. Other than that, Manuel was terrible. I can’t believe they have someone like that working in this place. Usually the service in Tulum is excellent, but Manuel is an exception.
