Mayan Monkey Hostel Tulum

Checked in and decided to look around. The guest were friendly and engaging, I decided to sit at the bar, worst idea. For some reason they wanted to serve everyone but me. The girl smiled at me a couple of times but wasn’t engaging. The bar tenders even went to pass out food before acknowledging me. Finally I asked if I could get a drink, of course people were in front me but I sure did come before them. All in all this is my first day and experience with this place and I have 4 more to go. At the end of this trip I hope I’ll be able to add more stars. First impressions are everything and I gotta say they are quick to take your money but slow to get that order lol. Beautiful place! Great views! Clean! Fun! Just show some love to solo travelers. Can buy 10 drinks but I can sure tip if the experience is right. Been serving for 10+ years.

Great vibes and people! A 10 to 15 minute taxi from beach. 20 minute walk from the Main street. Rooms were clean workers were so helpful and pleasant. I enjoyed game night. Next to a Taco spot and oxxo. Would definitely recommend!

Easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at in the world! The dorms are immaculate and have private charging and snake light stations with privacy curtains. The service and staff are off the hook. Everything is made for the discerning Backpacker to enjoy this stay in this mystical place called Tulum. The food is wonderful and there is another place to have local tacos 30 m away.

Best hostel I've ever stayed at! The environment is unmatched and the pool is a great place to chill at. The food at the hostel bar is delicious and affordable. Careful of keeping money in your rooms (even private)!

Short vacation. Great team. Front desk best service. I would like to mention 2 names Satiya and Jose helped me with any information needed. Very friendly. Welcoming atmosphere. This type of hostel is for people that are open and like to communicate....with others. Five stars.
