This place is epic. Absolutely perfect spot. The staff is amazing. The new owners are great people. I see the negative comments below, those are regarding the old owners. I bet those issues disappear moving forward.

Our stay in Casa Laha was perfect, the owners are super friendly - the place feels like home - and I am glad that we booked despite all the reviews here on Google. If you book via booking.com you should have no issues because they don’t charge you until you arrive.

I can’t support an organization that doesn’t honour their own policies & agreements. There are lots of reputable options in the service/hosipitality/wellness industry - I would consider it important to maintain one’s reputation. People work hard to make an honest living, it makes no sense to withhold funds for a service that was not provided.

I made a booking in May for a yoga retreat in October with a fully refundable deposit if I cancelled 30 days prior to the retreat start date. I did cancel and I am trying to get a refund following policies and procedures, to no avail...What does it take to make you honor your terms and conditions? I have patiently waited four months as you put off refunding my deposit. Please return my money, what you are doing is stealing.

It's unprofessional and a violation of business ethics to withhold refundable deposits from your clients for several months. It's stated in your policy that a refund will be provided given that the cancellation is early. Please consider the severity of your actions and how it will affect your business relationships in the future.
