Casa Tortuga Tulum

Unbelievably beautiful!!! We almost didn't go but I'm thrilled that we did!!! The water is so refreshing. It's clear enough that you can see for yards. The guides are so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely care for the environment of this beautiful natural area. I advise wearing water shoes that you can swim in. NOT FLIP-FLOPS. Also, take a waterproof camera with you because you're going to want to capture the beauty!! The stalactites in the caves blew my mind. You can rent a locker for 50 pesos where you can safely store your valuables while you explore. One other note, the restaurants & bars only accept cash and there is no ATM on site. There were a few vendors there, selling jewelry & typical tourist type goodies. They were very friendly and not one of them was hounding you to buy anything (unlike all the markets we've seen in Mecico). We'll definitely go back again.

Commercialized and personally wouldn't recommend it. Life jacket and a guide are mandatory. You have 15 minutes in the first one, second you get to swim from entrance to exit and they rush you to third one. Also, after the tour you can go back to first two on your own. This cenote was the busiest out of all I visited.

The cenotes are soo nice!!! I recommend. And for the price it is worth it
