Escondido Cenote

A lovely location. Peaceful. Tranquil. The cliffs are perfect for diving- even for a beginner. There’s a rope swing and stairs at each end for easy access. It’s small overall. The walk is very easy down the access road. Definitely worth the $120mx for both locations. The only thing I didn’t like were the fish biting my nipples. (Laugh- you know you want to)

This cenote is incredibly beautiful. 80 pesos to get in. You’ll be surrounded by awesome fish. Wasn’t very busy when I went maybe around 10 people so more peaceful. Bats are active here. If you get a life jacket you need a photo ID as a deposit. Water is clear as can be.

This excursion was so unique!! It was so beautiful and affordable. I recommend paying a little extra to snorkel, it is so deep and surprisingly beautiful under the water. Great place to get pictures. Lockers available for your valuables. Life vests available as well (free of charge).

Yes yes yes! There is Crystal cenote across the street and you can pay to go to both. If I remember correctly the price for both is 120-150. It feels like a local cenote.

Clean water, chilled vibe, not too many tourists trying to party and wreck the peace. Populat with locals.
