Dan's Café Deluxe

On busy times you see its owner -nicely giving us a little bit "of his love" (Dan-from Canada). Subtle service and very decent food. Usually open until after noon -but closes shortly after. I like the french bread... because they are made of wide bread -breaded with sugar and cinnamon, fruit and... etc., you can ask the person taking care of you to put whatever change you like to make on the plate (you don't have tip). Nevertheless, is 80 pesos for an incredibly day-start, plus what choice of juice you made. Nice surfing environment. Ping-pong...

Dan's was great overall for breakfast this morning! Good portions, very affordable, and beautiful inviting atmosphere. They have a ping pong table and plenty of seating- so I definitely plan to come back for lunch sometime to do some computer work and take ping pong breaks. Dan is a very cool guy. Sat down at our table for quite a while and then gave us a full tour of his awesome grounds with pool, casitas, and ocean views. If I didn’t already have a rental, I would totally stay here! As a vegan there's nothing offered on the menu but you can get sides of beans, tortilla, avocado and make your own. The owner and staff are lovely and the seating is nice which is why it's rated so high.

Muy chido y delicioso. Carta grande, servicio amable, precios bastante bien, juegos y jugos y buen café. Dan’s reminds me of a better version of another popular cafe just down the street. I don’t understand why everyone here loves Cafecito so much—every Mexican city seems to have one of those wildly mediocre but inexplicably popular restaurants. For my money, Dan’s is what all the cafecitos of the world are trying to be. Big menu, chill vibes, friendly service, ping pong table, TVs, WiFi, decent coffee and good food.

Off the beaten path but great value for money with for a breakfast with coffee refills.
