Carrizalillo

NOTE: map error! This is NOT Playa Carrizalillo (but rather Playa Manzanillo). Playa Carrizalillo is located approximately 700 meters to the west (and just slightly north) of this map marker. Both beaches are quite nice, but most people consider Carrizalillo to be the more beautiful of the two, and it's also a very popular spot for (mostly beginner) surfing lessons.

Gorgeous little beach!! Great for snorkeling and swimming in the crystal clear water!

Carrizalillo is amazing, but this is not the right location. Not sure how to get Google Maps to fix it, but it's confusing to tourists.

This particular beach where the pin is on Goggle Maps is not Carrizalillo. This pin on the map is the beach Playa Manzanillo. It can be accessed by stairs or from Playa Angelito. There is another location that is actually Carrizalillo and the photos are from there, and yes it is many stairs down and back up. There is another pin on Google Maps that has the correct location and spelling of this beach. I hope someone can correct this.
