For me, this place was perfect. I like travelling to foreign countries and experiencing authentic local flavor and this place nailed it. If you're looking for a standard american hotel chain, with a morning cup of Starbucks this place may not be for you. Instead, it provides, as the name states, a lot of "Mexican Charm". Friendly, warm helpful staff provided a great experience. As a modest spanish speaker (more than asking for another beer and where's the bathroom but less than full conversations) I enjoyed practicing my language skills with the staff, enjoying the Mexican cuisine and seeing the unique items the hotel had to offer (like a large iguana on the premises) Hotel is a couple blocks from the beach and a fair distance from the downtown area, but provides a shuttle to a "beach club" of the hotel equipped with bar, snacks and bathroom facilities as well as a private beach area. (Honestly, I just walked the 3 min instead of shuttle)

Fantastic service and the food! So many options; fresh & tasty. Live music every night, even with COVID. Quick 5 minute walk to the beach, we saved $300?. Excellant value!

We are in puerto Vallarta this week , but we were not staying at a hotel . While we were trying to get drinks on the beach the staff at the restaurant from the Hacienda Buenaventura told us about a day pass with the Hotel. The security guard at the beach was sooooooo helpful he gave us information about the day pass and helped us with getting our whole part set up with day passes . He then sent us with the driver Bernardo who was also amazing and really took care of us. The staff at this hotel was amazing the service they provided was above and beyond from the servers, security, cooks , front desk everyone. That is why I felt compelled to write this. Me and my husband have stayed at all inclusive resorts here in PV and we have never been more impressed with the staff as we were here. The food was also great!!!!! These guys all worked so hard and treated everyone the same no matter what .

Lovely staff. Delicious food. Good night entertainment. If you're looking for a place that is lowkey and calm with an older crowd, it is the spot for you. If you want a party pool scene with contemporary music, look for another place. Still a great time :)

This is a beautiful hidden resort. It's not on the beach. However the beach is 3min walk with the all inclusive resort feature available. Margaritas are non stop, the pool area is lovely and quaint. The food is delicious here. 10min cab ride to Malecon. Great entertainment too.
