Eclectic salon, fantastic cut and colors by the owner Jean, and gorgeous nails by Laura. Located on a side street just across from Captain Dons. Jean is a master colorist and fellow Canadian who lives here. English and Spanish spoken. They also offer dreadlock services.

I initially chose the Witchery because of it’s amazing location to get a nail fill, and the incredible price (300 pesos or approx $15.78 USD). While sitting there talking to Jean, the owner and hair stylist about my own hair, I asked her price for cut and color. When she said $500 pesos ( approx $26.31 USD), I couldn’t pass it up. So there I am, sitting getting my nails done by Laura and Jean behind me doing my hair. I’ve never felt so pampered! In less than an hour, Jean accomplished what my hair dresser back home couldn’t in over a year! $42 USD for hair AND nails (with an original design by Laura) saved me probably more than $150 USD!! I couldn’t be more happy and will definitely put this place on my to do list next time I’m here!! Hope my hair dresser back home isn’t too upset with me 😝

Jean is great, I have had a few services here including haircut, hairstyling and color change and when the color was off she correct it right away... My hair is complicated to dye and she took the challenge and got the color I wanted without extra damage. She did everything to get was I wanted. I recommend Jean without a doubt she is the best and good prices too with so much experience and quality products only!!!

Loved my experience at the Witchery! The place is filled with unique decorations, sayings and oddities. Jean, the Owner, is a wealth of local information, sass and good hair styling/coloring skills. I went in for a haircut, color and highlights. The highlights were a little off, not because of Jean but because I chose an off color. Jean was more than willing to make the color right. She really does her best to make sure her clients are happy. My friend also got her hair cut and had some blue stripes added to her hair. It came out beautifully. Did I mention the pricing? Very, very reasonable. Regarding Covid protocols...The front door is wide open and Jean runs a fan to keep the air circulating. When I was in for services, she had only myself and one other person in the shop. Hand sanitizer available too. I plan to visit Jean every year while in Puerto Vallarta. Thank you Jean!

Amazing Salon. So funky and crowded with wonderful unusual items! The owner Jean is outstanding. She did a perfect cut on my hair! I couldn’t be happier. The price is so unbelievably honest and no rip offs. She’s the real deal!
