Amazing quiet next to the river. They have wonderful bands. The food is absolutely delicious. It was a delight and a new favorite place of ours. Ten thumbs up.

Had an awesome afternoon at El Rio’s. The setting couldn’t be more relaxing, along the river, where you can watch the kids swing from the ropes into the river. Food is awesome and good portions. A quarter slap of ribs is more than enough for most people. They are huge. Also enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp. Best we had in PVR. Start with the guacamole and salsa and a cold brew. Large space and they go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable in the shade or sun if you prefer. And last but certainly not least, they had a band that played great oldies. Many people got up on the dance floor. A great time .

The place is simply great! They would take your fish-if you caught something on your fishing tour- and prepare to your liking. We go there every time we visit PTO Vallarta. The all outside seating is on the bank of the river, where you can swim or climb up to a small lip where you can jump from into a deeper part of the river. Last time - December 2020- we were group of 12. They have cooked our freshly caught fish for a main course with some addition of tender rice pilov. Of course, we had a great selection on appetizers prior. Their margaritas are great, yet be careful: after third one you might not be able to stand up. Our server Roxy was great, quick, and very attending. The musical entertainment is amazing. They featuring several musical bands on the different days of a week. Live music repertoire consists of the American pop and rock songs of 70s & 80s, great to dance to. This place is located a bit away from tourists area, so you also get a feeling of being somewhere in the remote location.

My favorite place in town. The food is fantastic. The entertainment is some of the best in town and the beautiful surroundings are so relaxing and enjoyable. Totally love it!!!

Fantastic BBQ and live music. Had the pork burrito and a half rack of ribs. Both were really good. Would highly recommend. Make sure to bring cash as they didn't accept credit cards.
