Clean facility. No wait time for ER visit. Average care. Didn't get a solution for the illness. Dr wasn't very knowledgeable . Paid in full including tests (tourist prices). Next day ,saw a smart Cuban Dr at a farmacia for 70pesos and on the way to recovery TG.

I recently had back surgery here and received wonderful care. Although some of my nurses did not speak English, the communication went smoothly. Anything I needed I was provided without wait. I also had a wonderful experience with the hospital food. Very personal and caring. Wonderful experience.

My mother was seen in the ED and admitted after a very quick and thorough workup. She spent 2 nights in ICU and 3 more on the regular floor. She had excellent care by the physicians and nurses. The other staff was very helpful also. Being in the health care profession myself, I was very please that this hospital maintains the high quality care that it does!

My father was admitted on a Monday and the doctors didn't diagnose him until Thursday night, concluding it was his vesicle they needed to take out. We had to stay until the following Monday – our stay was a pain and the doctors were hardly present. What is a simple procedure kept us in there for a week. The nurses were clueless. Instead of running the appropriate tests they waited out FOUR DAYS with no REAL diagnostic! It was really frustrating. Would NOT recommend.

A hospital to get great medical care if you can afford to forfeit your deposit to the Director / Admin Staff (despite your insurance paying your entire bill). If not, go to a more honest and administratively competent hospital. International travelers - beware! (Notes: The person who seems to be central to deposit reimbursements is the Director of Operations, Mr. Jesus Flores Mendoza. The person who manages the International Insurance program is Rosio Palacios who works from the Marina Vallarta San Javier hospital. Omar Covarrubias is the supervisor of the staff that takes in the deposits.)
