Its definitely not what it used to be in the 1980s unfortunately. I stayed there in 1988 and it was packed with bleached blonde California surfers. Now when I visited in August 2019 its not, and not very safe actually. Sad 💔 I will always remember Beautiful San Miguel in the good ol days 🤙🏻💙🌊
