My stay at Campera Hotel was great! The food, the service and the wine make it a great place for a weekend getaway. One thing I will make note of is the shower situation is pretty rudimentary, do not use the shower head use the wand instead. The bubble room also got pretty cold in the middle of the night, they do provide heating but my unit was pretty hit or miss. Overall I would recommend as a weekend trip if you are in the area.

Yes do it, stay here! From the beginning of our trip to the end, it was an ABSOLUTE JOY! It is well worth the drive. I do recommend you take full advantage of the restaurant, the wine tasting, the history and ambiance. The sunrise and the sunset —wow!! The food was absolutely delicious!! The staff, omg, the staff was amazing!! So friendly and so accommodating!!

Great and unique experience. Probably don't need more than 1 day. Bathroom in our unit had a broken floor and the hot water was sparse. Bed was very comfortable and star gazing at night is awesome. The onsite wines were our least favorite of our trip, but the chilaquiales were really good. Don't try early check in - they open gates at 3am. The path to get there is very dusty and bumpy so be careful.
