It is an incredible and historical place, there the last armed action of the War of Independence took place between the Royalist Army and the liberals under the command of Don Andrés de Bustamante on August 19, 1821, which is when we should commemorate our Independence. Sadly, the parishioners who attend mass there do not know it or are not interested in it despite the fact that there is a plaque indicating the anniversary and a small statue of an indigenous person with a cannon. Although the Trigarante Army, under the command of Don Agustín de Iturbide, did not make its triumphal entry into the capital until September 27, 1821. I am ashamed to confess that, as the former dictator, tyrant and murderer Fidel Castro Ruz said: "The people de México knows more about Mickey Mouse than about Hidalgo and Independence. "
