JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa

The rooms are pristine and gorgeous. The ocean view from the balcony did not disappoint. The staff is super attentive and very friendly. We did a massage at the spa and it was a great experience. The pools are fantastic and the pool staff bends over backwards to provide an amazing time. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because most of the restaurants for this hotel are actually in the neighboring Marriott, they don't have printed maps of the hotel layout making it hard to find things on your own, and the place pretty much shuts down by 11pm.

I stayed here from Nov 6-9. I cannot say enough about this hotel. I stayed at the Ritz and I would have to say this is like the Ritz, except more modern and entertaining. The good: far superior pool scene compared to the Ritz. They had a pool bar, newer and more elaborate pools. Bad: pools were cold which didn't seem to be the case at the Ritz. The good: rooms were modern beautiful, and very sophisticated. Bathroom was very sophisticated and beautiful. Bad: beds felt a little wet after the balcony doors would be opened (which didn't happen at the Ritz). The cleanliness of the entire hotel was incredible. The food was great. I wish they did all inclusive. Bad: the room service takes somewhat long to bring whatever you ask to your room. Very courteous staff and amazing smell and maintenance of the entire place! 10/10 would recommend.

The property is beautiful, 6 pools, 3 hot tubs, beach front with white sand & turquoise waters! Room was spacious with a pull out couch, nice view of the ocean & comfortable bed. The bath was roomy & glorious, a nice treat on vacation. Excellent service all around. Don’t believe the bad reviews!! We booked several nights next door at the Marriott based on reviews & wish we’d stayed at the JW longer!

Great location, staff, and amenities! This was our first time in Cancun and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at the JW. All the staff are extremely attentive and really go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. Plenty of beach front for all the guests and ample room around the pool area, we never felt crowded during our stay. The entire resort is COVID safe with plenty of sanitizing stations and social distancing measures in effect. We were nervous about traveling right now but we felt safe here our entire stay. Will definitely be back!

One of the best resorts I have ever visited. Luckily I still have 3 days left to enjoy it.. I have traveled the Caribbean for 35 years and no resort can top the service , location or amenities of the JW Marriott Cancun but what really sets this place apart is the staff. The staff is by far the best I have ever encountered. I will be back very soon!!
