Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya

Came here for our honeymoon in January 2021 and WOW! The place is so Beautiful in the customer service was exceptional! The resort has many beautiful pools and areas. I woke up everyday and loved walking outside to get breakfast and enjoy the views. Anything we asked for from the staff, we heard the answers “ of course and my pleasure “. They went above and beyond to serve us and give us anything we need. Our concierge at building four it was very helpful and nice. She took very good care of us in room 4112. Also, Carlos and Antonio and the preferred club bar were exceptional. They are very professional and hard-working. They even made us a special drink for our honeymoon. We are definitely considering to come back and visit them at the preferred club! They are amazing workers and we felt very taken care of . Will be back for sure !!

Beautiful, exotic property with great maintenance! Luxury feel in every little detail, amazing service. Beach is from heaven!!! non-intrusive service, but you don’t have to ask twice , you get it instantly !!! George is the magic guy there. He went far and beyond to make us happy. Food though could use an improvement: presentation is beautiful, but not the taste.

This has been the best hotel we have stayed at in Mexico by far! The staff are all wonderful and nice and they go out of their way to help and to ensure that you get five star service all of the time! Food is outstanding, eating at a five star gourmet restaurant all the time. Drinks are amazing and have a great variety! Efren (pool concierge) and Martin (Seaside server) went above and beyond their service. Efren set up a beach bonfire with s’mores, champagne, and wine. Rooms were amazing, pools were nice, and beach was beautiful!

This is a really well-run resort. The staff treats you like royalty and they are always asking if you need anything. The location is great- Akumal Bay is beautiful and great for snorkeling to see sea turtles, rays, and fish. The ocean front room and view was stunning. The food at the restaurants was delicious. The only downsides we can think of was that the room service food wasn't great.

Secrets Akumal is a beautiful all inclusive resort in Mexico. The staff is amazing and friendly, the beach is beautiful, and the resort WOW! They have three beautiful pools and the French fries and chicken quesadillas are the best ever! You can not go wrong at this property. Pro tip: get the Mango Tango poolside - light, fruity and fantastic. The Clean Complete Certification ensures your room is clean, the staff are trained and safety is their number one priority. The property is about 1 hour from Cancun International Airport but the drive is nice.
