Based in Tampico, Tamaulipas on the North East Coast of Mexico, Kentech Mexico currently employs over 600 people, 99.5% of which are Mexican nationals, staying firm to Kentech’s philosophy of thinking globally whilst hiring locally. Kentech Mexico offers a range of services to meet the demands of both the Private and Public market sectors throughout Mexico. We have successfully executed major multi-disciplinary projects incorporating Civil, Mechanical, HVAC, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines. Kentech Mexico have been able to successfully integrate Kentech’s world class project management systems to work effectively in the local market and as such operate under the Group’s Integrated Management System with all company documentation and procedures being managed in both the Spanish and English languages. With an ever increasing base of established satisfied clients including Pemex, Iberdrola, Abengoa, Emerson Process Management, Dragados and Air Liquide, Kentech Mexico offers clients a flexible, trusted and certified partner who are able to undertake projects as a Main Contractor or Subcontractor. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OVERCOMING THE ODDS: By developing our service offering in the region to meet client needs, Kentech Mexico won our first complete multi-disciplinary project in 2011 for the execution of the full construction scope of works including civil, mechanical, piping, tanks, electrical, and instrumentation associated with the build of a complete Oxygen Plant. DEDICATED LOCAL WORKFORCE: Kentech place a high emphasis on local skills base development. 99.5% of our direct workforce in Mexico is of Mexican nationality and we work hard to develop the technical, management and safety skills of our Mexican national employees. OUTSTANDING SAFETY STANDARDS: Kentech has expended over 7 million manhours in Mexico since we established operations without suffering a Lost Time Injury. ROBUST SYSTEMS: We have been able to successfully integrate Kentech’s world-class management systems to work effectively in the local market and operate the company's Integrated Management System in dual languages.
