This is a project by the owners to try to live with minimal impact on the environment. They are water self-sufficient from rainwater. They built their houses out of mud and set glass bottles in the walls to add sunlight to the rooms. They grow some of their food. They have adopted several dogs. They provide employment to the locals in the form of maintenance of the outbuildings and pruning of trees. The food was good, and the lodgings were comfortable.

This place is awesome, the cabins are really built with environmental techniques and are beautiful and comfortable. You'll also get very nice service and super friendly hosts. You can take a break from the non-stop pace of city life and have a moment of peace with nature.

It's a beautiful place surrounded by trees and nature, hidden away from the city where one can relax and forget the daily stress of life..all the casitas have been built green (environmentally friendly) although I have to say that I wasn't too excited about the dry toilets.. to truly save any water the shower needs to be gone. I think not having internet could be an issue for some of us to stay connected with business and family or in case of an emergency. I was also a little disappointed when workers started to walk and work around the casita and woke us up too early, other than that I highly recommend this place👍

The cabins are dirty, I understand the ecological part and that they are made with mud, but it does not mean that they should be full of dust and dirt inside, the curtains that they use for doors are dirty and I sincerely feared for the existence of bedbugs in the mattresses . The facilities in general are dirty, difficult to access for the elderly and without adequate attention from the owners. I delve more into this topic; The presentation of the owner leaves much to be desired, he received us totally disheveled and with an image that perfectly matches the general condition of the place. More than an "ecological" place, it is more like a camp (with the same level of comfort and cleanliness that this represents).

Wonderful experience. They are very friendly and the tour they offered us was beautiful even though we only stayed for about three days, we were able to see a lot. They even offered to put a fire outside our house. Highly recommended.
