A long haul on a rocky road through the potrero chico entrance brings you to the source of Hidalgo's water. It's a hole that water comes out of, and a bit of it trickles into a stream. Nothing to write home about but a good destination for a bike ride, or join the locals and make a day of it with your picnic.

An excellent place to visit within the El Chico paddock, just 5 minutes from the ancient tree, this water source is unreal. You can leave the car parked close enough and being able to soak your feet in that water is the most refreshing thing to do on hot days.

I loved it! It was a long hike but super worth it! I will definitely be back!

Excellent place, natural source of water, which feeds the municipality of Hidalgo, N.L., in times of rain it takes a little strength. A safe and quiet area to enjoy nature.

Very nice place, especially days after it has rained, excellent place to unwind, excellent for walking, accessible by car halfway, the rest by truck, 4 * 4 or just walking. You have to take care of these places if you go do not leave garbage and respect nature.
