Excellent seafood (and everything else, including cocktails). Highly recommend the street-side oyster bar.

Having been to 2 locations in GDL, I already had high expectations. The place was practicing great Covid measures. The place was no where near busy at lunch time. There were 4 of us and there was no problem getting seated or getting our drinks. Appetizers, salads and main courses were ordered. The queso appetizer arrived and was delicious. The 2nd appetizer never arrived. Hamburgers arrived for 2 of us while we were still eating the appetizer but no big deal. Then a delicious joven octopus dish and 1 salad. The last main course dish of aguachile arrived when almost everyone else was finished. This was even after waiting for the dish to arrive. Finally after we all were about finished the 2nd salad with oysters arrived. We were asked if we still wanted it and we declined. We were told that it would be comped and we could take it to go. We asked for the bill and had to have it adjusted for the missing appetizer. The comped salad was taken away and never appeared. What we did eat and drink was delicious and pricey as expected but the execution was seriously lacking. We had great company so we made the most out of this meal.

I ate here the last two nights in a row and it was terrible. Before writing a review I visit a restaurant a second time. Anyone can have a bad day. Sadly, this was not the case here. The first night the Peruvian Ceviche was only Meh (not great) and the second night I ordered an Oyster and Shrimp Po Boy (Po Boy's are one of their signature dishes) and was told they had no bread. I ordered the Oyster Chowder in its place and it was basically inedible. It was flavorless. There were hardly ANY Oysters at all in the chowder and the soup was so laden with bacon, it was the only food that I could discern as being in the chowder. It was absolutely terrible. Oh, and much to my surprise, what did the waiter bring with the soup? A big plate of bread!! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ The wait staff was excellent. The Oysters on the half shell were excellent but I would NEVER eat here again. It was a complete disappointment. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

These guys are the worst. They told us they couldn’t take our reservation but we should come anyways because they’re not that busy and they’d have a table for us. We get there and they make us wait 30 minutes and told us we could maybe sit down if a reservation doesn’t make it?? Wasted our time and money for no reason
