Be careful if you are a tourist. We had a great evening with awesome food and great service. After the meal we asked for a tequila not thinking much about it as we didn’t expect to get cheated in an upscale restaurant. A slightly higher price would have been fine. I was quite surprised when the bill came and they charged €35 for one shot of tequila. We asked. No mistake but “this is a very good tequila”. At not time were we made aware of the ridiculous price. Due to this behavior I gave less tip and was asked angrily “why not more tip”. The goodbye was highly unprofessional and unfriendly. Do not go.

I very very rarely leave any reviews as I work with in hospitality but I just had too. After not receiving my burger cooked at the right temperature. I ask for it med-rare and it came well done. Big difference!!!! I then played full price at the end. Poor poor show. I will not return.

Three of us visited this restaurant on 1/20 to celebrate my sister’s birthday. It was cozy and had well-designed decor. The food and drinks were amazing. The service was some of the best I’ve had. We will definitely go back when we visit Mexico City again.

The last time I was in México City I went with my family to Gardela. Even though I am vegan, I was able to find a lot of great options for me to eat. My family really enjoyed the meat. My dad got the tomahawk steak. He really enjoyed the flavors and how the meat melted in his mouth. My mom ate some carpaccio and she really enjoyed the flavors of how it was mixed together. Anyone out there who loves a good steak or different type of meat that you don’t see very often, I highly recommend this restaurant to you. You won’t be disappointed in the amazing flavors they have to offer. Also the service is really friendly and very accommodating with your needs.
