I try to eat here every time I'm in Merida! The food and atmosphere are always fantastic. From tequila to steak to seafood, always delicious. We like to sit in the courtyard and enjoy a cigar with our meal, but of course this is getting more difficult even with outdoor seating. I eat here probably two or 3 times per year, fantastic every time.

Sadly no photos were taken but - oh my God. The tuna salad, the steaks, the empanadas, the tartar, the carpaccio, the spinach dip, the chicken.. we ate the entire menu and drank half of the bar and everything was on point in flavor and service. So good. Will def go back.

Food was good. Made reservations a day ahead. When we get there they had our table right next to the door. So you feel the breeze constantly of the open and closing of door. And everyone who walks in has to pass your table. 2 sets of 4 persons walked in w/o reservations were given inside tables. We did ask and was given a choice of 5 other tables. We had to keep flagging the servers. Service was not to par with a restaurant such as this one is rated. My biggest disappointment is that I wanted a glass of wine a Cab. Server said they were out. They offered a melbec, I went with that. My husband was on his 2nd beer. The server comes back and saids they are out of Melbec also. This was very disappointing for a supposedly a top rated restaurant. It has been over a year that we have been there. We use to go often but stopped going because the quality of the food. We were told by friends that their quality of food had improved again. As mentioned the food was good but the experience of the night is not worth a return for us.
