Academic institution with the responsibility of training high-level students, combining academic and sports disciplines. It arises as a response to the social demand for spaces that attend both academic and physical and value training in the state's youth population, in addition to continuing the training of graduates from institutions such as the Primary and Secondary of Soccer. In the Sports Baccalaureate each student chooses which sport they want to train, practicing two hours a day to become a high-performance athlete. The sports disciplines that are offered are: Athletics, Cycling, Boxing, Soccer, Tennis and Swimming, which are practiced in the facilities of the Sports Institute of the state of Aguascalientes (IDEA) and are taught by professional trainers dependent on the IDEA. The objective of the Baccalaureate is to offer consolidated comprehensive education in academic and sports training, which allows young people to access Higher Education.
