Stay away. I had a bad feeling when they started my implants. I should have gotten out of the chair and left. The "doctor" put implant studs where there was hardly any bone. I should have had a sinus lift. I had trouble from the day after the crowns were put on. I tried to contact them for attention- they were too concerned with getting to their Easter vacation. Long story short, one of the implants started coming loose and I had to have it removed and re done here in the states. Now having the same issue with the other one. Stay away!!

A root canal wasn't my idea for a fun afternoon yesterday, but that being said, it was painless and more comfortable than expected. Earlier this year different tooth was extracted and replaced, again painlessly. I've received top quality service during every procedure including cleaning and whitening. The entire staff is professional and friendly and somehow the dentist managed to keep me amused during yesterday's root canal. 5 stars for service and affordability.

I used Dental Express for the three years I lived in Ajijic and received professional and personalized service every time. I continue to come back to them even though I no longer live in Ajijic. I have had multiple cleanings, crowns and implants. I received bone grafts from the surgeon they have who comes in on Tuesdays from Guadalajara. They speak English very well and understand your needs and concerns. They call to remind you of your appointment. The office is clean and modern. During COVID they are taking temperatures and distancing in the waiting room. Their prices are very reasonable too. Their equipment is state of the art. I highly recommend them.

We, hubby and I came down here from Idaho to house/pet sit and decided it would be to our advantage to get some much needed dental work!! Well, we are absolutely delighted to say this was an amazing wonderful experience!! Hubby had 3 crowns, a bone graft, an implant post (coming back to get implant) and a few cavities taken care of! Me, 1 crown and several small fillings done! Not only were the costs an amazing savings but both our Drs were caring and compassionate!! Staff was excellent too!! We will be back!! Thank you all!!

What a 'butcher shop'. I went there because of a recommendation, WRONG! Long story short, x-rays determined 2 crowns were needed and possibly 2 root canals but Dr.(not mentioning any names)said we wont know until the teeth were prepped. The teeth were prepped and Dr. &@#!@$ said he didn't think root canals were needed but some decay was present also. You'd think not a problem, right? WRONG again! He made 2 crowns WITHOUT fixing the decay glued them on and hasta la vista baby. 3 days later have to go back due to pain, he then reshaped 1 of the crowns and back on the road. 3 days later back again for pain, Dr.&@#!@$ told me the root canal guy(which is another story in itself)will be back in 2 days and that if I'd give him my time he would take care of everything(the little voice said not to do it, I should of listened). I come back in 2 days, he utilizes cold on both crowns which both hurt(that tells me I need 2 root canals and I'm not even a dentist)and says which tooth needs a root canal, and as Jackie Gleason said, 'and away we go'. He drills thru my new crown WHICH I told the Dr. that if I need a root canal they need to be done before the crowns get glued in. Several hours later I'm told that I need to come back yet again to finish up the root canal(this is old now). The following day the root canal gets finished. Lets say a week or 2 go by, things are still not right, there is still something wrong with the bite of the crown that hasn't been drilled thru and there is still pain. I go see another highly recommended dentist lakeside and even I can see on the x-ray that on the tooth that got the root canal the entire root wasn't taken care of(strike 1), there was still glue that had oozed out and wasn't taken care of(Strike 2), and to fix everything now(keep in mind the new dentist has to stand behind 'her' work)I now need 2 root canals 2 crowns and they will fix the decayed areas(strike 3 your out!)It doesn't cost that much more to go see a skilled dentist and if you choose to go to Dental Express don't say you were warned and ask yourself, 'Am I going to be needing another dentist later'?
