Lago de Chapala

Had a lovely time. Not as many vendors though, I'm wondering if its due to covid. However there were alot of ppl enjoying the weather. Live music everywhere. Food stands are open along the lake.

Simply wonderful .. happiest place on Earth

Great place to hang out

It's a great lake. We have checked it in Mescala and Chapala itself. In Mescala we took the boat to Isla de Chapala. That was great. The village is not touristic and a bit harsh for fancy people. In Chapala itself it's more polished and touristic. Very beautiful. In general a fantastic experience.

This seems to be the place that more Mexicans come to it's more people locals from Guadalajara and other cities around it's a fun place to come for them it's an outing not so many Gringos are here why I don't know they seem to be lost and their dream world they created that's not what they found here why change everything Chapala stays the same as Mexican country Mexican Town much better then ajijic I think
