After researching Tijuana dentists on Yelp, Dr. De La Vega's high ratings stood out. He did wonderful work on my mother's partial, and then a root canal and crown when mine cracked accidentally. His work was more comfortable and better than my first one in LA and less than 1/2 the price price. He is a perfectionist when it comes to fit. 2 years later, my crown is perfect. Luckily my insurance reimbursed me for work in Tijuana. Dr. D signed my paperwork and I was ready to go. He has great bedside manner and speaks perfect English. I would recommend him to anyone. His new offices are like 3x larger. He is wonderful!

He gave me a crown that was a lil bulky but cheaper than the USA dentist, he showed me how his tools were sterilized by showing me that they were in a bag and then on the side I saw a girl wiping and scraping the tools clean with Clorox wipes..luckily I didn't get an infection. But I will not go back especially after these reviews, I'm so lucky I survived

if you found de la Vega, You have found the best in tijuana. i had not been to a dentist in 20 years. i was really afraid of the pain. i had one root canal, one crown, two cavities, three extractions. all done with almost no pain. i highly recommend Doctor de la Vega.

Edit: Both crowns came out in less than a year. He’s a nice guy. Unfortunately his work is not good. Maybe it’s just the materials he uses because it looked great initially, so there is some skill there. He did offer to fix, but it’s not worth the time and money I’ve decided. Before edit: I have been here a few times now and have been very pleased with the service. He will make sure you are taken care of.
