I recently was a patient at the Baja Hospital and Medical Center in Tijuana when I had the gastric sleeve surgery performed by Dr Mario Almanza. This is the state of the art hospital with friendly and caring staff. I wanted for nothing. My every request was fulfilled and more. The medical team has worked closely me through pre-op, my aftercare in the hospital, and now post-op care. Dr Payan and her team treated me like family. I have never received such personalized care anywhere in the world.

The doctor who operated on me never called me to find out how I was doing, they didn't give me an operative appointment, I never saw the psychologist, much less the nutritionist, the 5-star hospital, but the care with the doctor leaves much to be desired
