Outstanding food and lovely service. Their salsas are bomb. We had pasta with pesto and the fish, both were amazing! Definitely recommend this place for a date night or small group dinner. It’s so cute and so damn good.
This little restaurant is dry (no alcohol) when we went but a lot of shops are just trying to recover form covid and permits are expensive so I don't know if this is the norm for them. Either way I don't drink so it's right up my alley. The food is incredible and I cannot stress that enough. Affordable incredible food. The tuna tartar is a must try, and we had a lovely plate of tacos. The nachos are made the way nachos are supposed to be! No pile of chips with sauce lacking on half of them: you'll have sauce to spare for sure. Very polite and thoughtful staff that even warned us ahead of time their card reader wasn't available so it was cash only. This place is not to be missed!
Had the pleasure to stop in Yakunaj last week and it was definitely one of my favorite finds of the trip. The moment I opened the menu I got a sense of excellence from the place and soon my suspicion was proven right. They brought out 3 sauces and cinnamon butter when they brought out the chips and bread, all delicious. I ordered the Pescado Tikin Xiik with the agua de naranga which was just the right amount of mixture of water and orange juice, really refreshing. I mean, they even got the amount of ice just right! I have celiac so I was limited on what I could order, I really had to practice some retrain when I saw the deserts!
This is probably the best food I've had at this price point. I mentioned to them they could easily charge more for the quality they are providing so you better hurry and visit the place! I just saw this place was rated #1 in trip advisor, believe the hype!
A jewel... glad we found it. Waiters are super kind and well trained. Top Chef meals and very authentic local cuisine with proposition. Truly impressed. Garden is cosy too.
I did cochinita tacos for take out. There were 3 very delicious tacos with vibrant flavors. The spiciness is real, just the way I like it. The staff that helped was really friendly and helpful. Sadly, this taco menu is only available after noon, because I tried to come for early lunch, and they only have breakfast menu.
