Ka'an Spa

Cute, funky,and relaxing little spa in Puerto Morelos. We enjoyed the couple's massage and it was significantly less expensive than the resort prices. Also, enjoyed the backyard chickens and birds.

As a dedicated non-spa person (who was convinced to go by my girlfriend) I approached with trepidation but my apprehension was, happily misplaced. I enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing massage from Roman, the spa was clean,fragrant and tranquil what more can one ask for?

I decided to take a punt at this spa, which isn't close to the beach, because the big hotel spas were not much cheaper than what I pay at home. I was after a bargain while in Mexico. I am so glad I ventured out a bit. Ka'an spa was such a little treat. The gardens are lovely and relaxing. Went for a massage and the spa was well appointed, very clean and the smell was marvellous- they use great essential oils and it makes the experience so lovely. Really felt pampered. I love getting massages- it's defo a treat I often indulge in while on holiday, I have had massages in Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Italy, Prague and all over the states, so the fact that I rate my massage from Roman in the top three is really saying something. I was like jelly when I left. My skin felt so soft and and oils smelled so good, I was in heaven. And the long haul flight aches and pains just melted away. Wish I had gone there earlier in my trip so I could have had more. If you're lucky enough to get time in Roman's schedule- do it, you will be so happy you did. Oh- one other thing, my Spanish is not so great but Liz is an expat American so the booking process was so easy and Roman speaks very good English too so there was no language barrier- which was a bonus.
