Convento Franciscano

A must in your visit to the yellow city of Izamal. One of the side entrances is closed but the one on the other side if it is open, I recommend you go down there to have one of the best photos of the place. It is somewhat neglected but I think it is because of the storms they have had in these weeks. It was a very hot day for us, so the shadow left by its wings between columns suited us perfectly.

Imposing construction of the 16th century

So much history is hidden in this site that even knowing every inch of it always ends up in awe. A magical town that cannot be missing from your list when visiting Yucatan. Years go by and every day more people come to know it, photos, postcards and even music videos have been carried out inside it. Incredible place.
