Kate Miasik Hair Salon – Hair Stylist

Very unprofessional experience. I called to schedule a keratin treatment appointment and hair color. The woman asked which I wanted to do first and I said whatever she recommended. She said come for a consult and I said okay as long as after I could get one of those done. She scheduled me at the end of the week. I show up for my appointment only to have it be a 5 min appointment where she told me I had a lot of hair and it would be 2500 pesos. I said I know I have a lot of hair and I told the woman on phone the length and then she asked which I wanted to do first and told her the same I told the receptionist. She says your choice so I choose keratin. Then she says okay we will schedule you. Seriously?!? I came for a 5 min repeat convo to only be scheduled another week later. No thank you. They were not accommodating even after sharing that this is not what I was told on phone. And I speak Spanish so it was not a miscommunication.

Kate Miask and her team saved my hair! Prior to coming to Kate I had my hair bleached and damaged with flat lifeless color. I was in tears! I showed pictures of what I wanted to Kate and her senior stylist. They were able to add back in warmth and return my hair to glory. I also had a Olaplex treatment which restored my damaged hair to softness! I reccomend this salon for color and styles. Kate cares about your hair. She picked an excellent color. They have a great team here. You can feel safe letting them work on your hair.

Best color I’ve ever had! Mitsue listened to me in my broken Spanish and did exactly what I wanted. I’m so happy with the results. After coloring my roots and putting in some lowlights and shampooing she applied some type of conditioning mask that was incredible. After blowdrying and flat ironing it felt like silk. Beautiful and comfortable salon with sweet Sofía to greet you. A wonderful experience! I highly recommend this salon and Mitsue. 💚

Fantastic salon and excellent service. Went in with very tired looking blonde hair and came out with some of the best highlights I've ever had anywhere in the world. Staff is very professional and happy to discuss what you're looking for and the products they carry are all amazing (I'm a big Olaplex & Kevin Murphy fan and it was so nice to see both along with lots of other top-line products). Thank you so much, this will definitely be my go-to in Mérida!

Amazing service!! I was very worried about the quality of these kind of services in Mexico (BTW I am from Nashville TN), after my first appointment I was in love!!! this is the best studio in all Merida, they use amazing products and technology. I have more a year using the service and I can’t said enough about the studio. Very happy customer!!!
