Nursing School of the Mexican Institute of Social Security Yucatán Delegation. • Incorporated to the Autonomous University of Yucatan, using the 2013 MEFI curriculum, therefore they have official validity. • The degree to be obtained at the end of the studies is a Bachelor of Nursing, however, upon reaching the second year (fourth semester) the degree of Nursing Assistant is obtained. • The curriculum consists of 4 years of theoretical-practical training and 1 year of social service in the first level of care (IMSS UMF). • The subjects of the common trunk will depend on the semester that is taken, these are: -First semester: Community Nursing. -Second semester: Fundamental Nursing. -Third semester: Maternal and Child Nursing. -Four semester: Pediatric Nursing. -Five Semester: Surgical Nursing. -Second Semester: Nursing in Intensive Care. -Seventh Semester: Administration in Nursing and Preventive Nursing. -Eighth Semester: Integrative Practices. • The call to enter ALWAYS opens in March and April of each year, presented the knowledge and psychometric exams in May, to release the results the first week of July. • The average discharge from high school to participate is a minimum of 8. • It is of a public nature, so IMSS workers, children of IMSS workers and external students (without any relationship with the Institute) can enter. • As a general rule, it is necessary to study English and reach Basic level 1, as well as to practice some sport or recreational activity extracurricularly. These activities must be carried out in the Social Security Center (CSS). If you are accepted you must take a regulatory course of Anatomy and Physiology and an introductory course (both free of charge) with a duration of one month (all July) • Classes always start the first week of August. • The methods for graduation are through the General Exit Exam (EGEL-ENFER) of CENEVAL or by submitting a Thesis. • Classes are from 8am to 4pm, and if you put together English classes and / or extra subject, it will be longer. • All the classrooms of the school have air conditioning and comfortable furniture, the campus has parking, laboratory, library with books related to the race, multipurpose court, videoconference room, auditorium and green areas. • It has a simulation program, the building is behind the school. • EYE: THE SCHOOL DOES NOT ACCEPT STUDENTS AFTER THE CALL, IT ALWAYS HAPPENS THAT, THE PEOPLE WHO PRESENT IN THE UADY AND CANNOT GET REMAIN HAVE THIS SCHOOL AS A SECOND OPTION OR THOSE WHO GET FROM THE PREPA IN AUGUST AND SEEK WHERE TO ENROLL PASSED THE ADMISSION DATES WILL NOT ACCEPT YOU AND YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT THE FOLLOWING YEAR BY DOING THE PROCESS AS MENTIONED. • EYE, THE SCHOOL IN CERTAIN CYCLES ONLY OPENS A HALL FOR 30-35 PEOPLE. THIS IS 3 YEARS FOLLOWED TWO ROOMS OPEN AND THE FOURTH YEAR ONLY ONE. WHY YOU MUST BE ATTENTION TO THE CALL AND ASK. DO NOT TRUST. • GENERAL OPINION: The school teaches excellent quality, with excellent teachers. The school demands too much dedication, commitment and time, so if you plan to study and work at the same time THIS IS NOT YOUR OPTION, since extracurricular activities are mandatory and should always be done after school, including Saturdays.
