We came here twice during our trip to Mexico. The first time we just ordered drinks and ceviche. That was all we had planned. The food was excellent. Our mixed ceviche had lots of flavor and the shrimp cocktail was uniquely citrusy. While we ate our waiter Felipe informed us that if we wanted to go snorkeling in the reef he could arrange it for 300 pesos each. It turns out the restaurant operates a boat with a certified guide. I was extremely skeptical, but we decided to put down a small deposit and come back the next day, and we were so glad we did. Our guide Luis was very friendly and knowledgeable. We learned the reef is a national park in Mexico and is protected from all fishing. The reef was beautiful. We snorkeled through one section of reef and then got back in the boat to go to another location. We were in the water for about two hours total. For a few more pesos Luis sent us pictures of everything through WhatsApp. It was an awesome time. After returning from the reef we had a seafood feast laid out for us. The food was excellent. Our seafood platter had a variety of tasty dishes and the Tikinxik fish was delicious. Felipe showed us the fish before it was prepared so we know we received *real* red snapper. If you are unaware, red snapper is one of the most commonly faked fish in restaurants and if you order it you have almost no chance of actually getting what you ordered. Not the case here. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was a true highlight of our trip. Stop in and see Felipe when you are in town. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome shrimp ceviche and and a good sea view on the 2nd floor. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The worst place we’ve eaten in here in the Caribbean(been here 10 days already), fish was awful, the waiters didn’t know how the dishes were served, they told us arrachera came with guacamole and they brought just onion on the side, NOT even piña colada was good it tasted like water, no piña on it. Not worth visiting there are much better places like pelicanos, punta corcho or Chimichurri close enough!

We just wanted beer, the waiter tried pushing food for 5 minutes. The beer was $75 for 2 bottles, the correct price. We didn't get an official bill, but i gave him a $100. We waited for our change from $100 for 15 minutes. The waiter never came back. We left, and now there's this review. I might have left a small tip, but now I'm never coming back and i hope every one else avoids this little rip-off place. $25 isn't all that much in the grand scheme of things, but it shouldn't have happened, every.
