What a pleasure to have Michele and Sal from Mayan Mansions find us a perfect condo in Playa del Carmen.They are dedicated, and tremendously helpful in all aspects of our purchase. We live in Canada so Michele took the lead and practically did everything for us. Upon our visit to see the condo Michele had everything ready and organized from the paperwork to finding us a law firm . I highly recommend Michele and Sal to sell your home or to help you purchase one.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS AGENT! We recently sold our unit E6 and it was a complete nightmare. Our agent Hazel of Remax was fabulous. However, MICHELLE the owner of Maya Mansions, the buyer agent was a nightmare, as well as performed illegal actions in our unit. She instructed one of her agents to break into our townhome and let an "interested" buyer move it. I know, crazy! We do not live in the area and were quite shocked to learn we had someone illegally living in our unit, yes a squatter. No contracts or anything had been signed with this "interested" buyer, no agreements, no money exchanged, nothing. I am not sure if the interested buyer actually knew she was living there illegally or what her agent told her (maybe she was paying her agent to live there). But, if she did know what she was doing I caution you in your dealings with her as well. This was incredibly illegal, not to mention unethical. We were told we could take police action, have them arrested and keep all of her belongings if we wanted to. Instead we chose to have our manager and agent enter the unit, take pictures and change the locks. Again, I am not aware if Michelle actually told her future buyer that we did this and were keeping her items until the deal was agreed upon. My guess is she told the buyer some excuse why she could not get in, when in reality we owned all of her stuff at that point and would not allow her in. We have spent months dealing with this transaction and back and forth with Michelle (the dirty buyer agent) of Maya Mansions to get her to take action and compensate us for the person she illegally moved into OUR home while we paid all the utilities, HOA, insurance and held full liability for her being there. On each conversation she tried to find another way to screw us and benefit herself. We had to be hyper diligent in reading everything twice and keeping a keen eye on how she could illegally screw us again. We have made over 30 real estate transactions in various countries over 20 years and never have we dealt with such a dirty, moral less and illegal action taking agent. BEWARE! Do not use this women or anyone who works for her. Up until the very last days of the transactions she was still trying to get us to let the buyer move back in without paying us 100% of the funds first. I have proof of all of the above, including time stamped video of my agent and manager in the unit (we owned) while this other ladies stuff was in there. I actually had two airbnb guests checking in the next week and they could not. Again, DO NOT USE MICHELLE from MAYA MANSIONS as your agent. She is not only unethical, but she had no problem doing anything illegal. Townhouse E-6, Jessica Sueiro
