MI RANCHITO mariscos & cortes

I really like this place. Easy to get to, a welcoming oasis on the highway. It is delightful from the moment you drive through the gates. Shady and green and welcoming. Super clean and spacious. Great food. I do not like spicey food and the kitchen is always very accomodating to my preferences. Yesterday I asked for the shrimp filled with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and then breaded. The menu suggested that it came with a spicey sauce but the kitchen prepared something really yummy just for me...a peach based sauce . Totally delicious, every dish is prepared when ordered so it is certainly worth the wait. We have been here many times for breakfast and lunch. (The Chilaquilies are wonderfu)l. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful. Desserts are really good too. This is a family friendly restaurant and has highchairs for little children. The portions are huge and I normally end up taking food back home to enjoy later. Excellent.
