Hotel Feregrino

Breakfast is good, all of the ingredients are fresh, quite international. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The hotel is rather small, however it's better that way. The downside are the garage parking lots, not enough for all the rooms. Quite recommend as a budget hotel and just 800m away from downtown.

Small, cozy and beautiful quiet hotel, near Bernal, Querétaro. It is located on the road not far from the downtown location. Big rooms and a good bed. Complimentary breakfast, don't expect much variety of food. Good and solid choice.

The place may not look great from the outside, but once you enter, you are greeted by a garden with a nice brick stairs. And even if the area is small, it has several little places to be discovered, like a small tower that can be accessed via some uneven cheeky stairs, a small garden with Halloween pumpkins, a "Días de los muertos" altar dedicated to Maria Felix (famous female actress), a pretty glass sculped window, a couple of photo areas in the roof, to take pictures of the area. The rooms are somewhat small, but good enough. It has a TV with cable. The bathroom was more modern looking than originally thought and has a hair dryer and a shampoo and cream dispensers, which was another welcomed surprise. The price includes breakfast. Nothing fancy (eggs, beans, fruit, coffee, chilaquiles, hot cakes, cereal and yoguy) but was tasty and plentiful. The only negative element, is that the WiFi was not open for general usage. There are prettier and larger hotels in the area, but for the price, this is a great option. Don't be discouraged by it's exterior!

The Hotel Feregrino is a very nice place, clean and nice rooms, located very clase to the Center of the Mágica Village of Bernal.
