LA CASA DE LOS CUATRO VIENTOS

Fantastic place to stay! I was determined to find a unique stay in Sierra Gorda and this place popped up on Google Maps. I contacted the owners via Facebook and then booked it via Air bnb. The drive to the casa is about 2km and for those of you not used to Mexican roads then I suggest taking it very slowly as it’s a bit rocky. The casa is worth the drive. It’s beautifully put together with epic views from the bed itself as well as the terrace. The house is well equipped so I recommend bringing something to cook, some bottled water and a glass or two of red wine. If you know how to start a log fire (sadly I’m rubbish at that sort of thing) then I’m sure that would be nice to do as well. Highly recommended

Great stay cut off from the world, very charming place! Advice : -provide warm clothing for the night and the morning -Call before your arrival when you are still receiving the network so that the guardian can wait for you on your arrival (give her an hour) because it is not a hotel but more a loft for rent :) (otherwise ask people where she is is in the little houses before) - plan races before coming otherwise the village is 15mins by car as well as the first network bar Ideal for going to see the waterfalls which are about 30mins by car

It is a nice and very nice place, the sky is very good at night, however there are some details to take care of (excessive noise of the hydropneumatic throughout the night, which makes the stay a bit uncomfortable, the staff does not offer too much privacy, etc.) I would definitely return later

The place is beautiful, the cabin pretty good, the beds comfortable. I slept like never before. The kitchen is very well equipped. They have board games and there are some swings that my children loved. There is absolutely no cell signal. But nearby they sell you 6 and 12 hour Wi-Fi codes. Excellent experience. The caretakers are super friendly and attentive.
