San Pedro y San Pablo Teposcolula

This convent may not be as famous as Santo Domingo but it is well worth visiting, it has been restored. As far as I remember you have to pay to enter but it is worth it. If you like architecture this is a good place to meet. The architecture is beautiful, this convent has been restored but the yard and ceiling is wonderful into the main chapel

The Dominicans settled here in 1541, starting shortly after the construction of a fabulous religious complex, with a magnificent open chapel that is one of the most important works of the sixteenth century in New Spain. It should be noted that this chapel had two choirs, one for singers and one for musicians. At the time, the chapel was decorated with an altarpiece made by the painters Andrés de la Concha and Andrés Pereyns of whom some works are preserved inside the temple. This set is part of what is called the Dominican Route.
