Excellent place to rest. Silence and nature all around. Friendly staff, clean place and the beach is right there! The best: pet friendly!

The food was good (Filete de pescado and camarones a la diabla) 😋 The Cafe de la olla was good also. But they charged an extra $10 pesos for cream (leche). 😐 The service was very good. Rooftop terrace overlooking the beach. 😎🖒 Nice breeze. Hamacas to kick back in after the meal. Not cheap, but not too expensive either. ($600.°° pesos for 4 meals and coffee) We didn't stay at the hotel, so this review is only for the restaurant. Aguas Blancas in general is a nice off-the-beaten-track beach. 🙄 You can swim, fish, boogie board, have it made in the shade or soak up the sun. Lots of fresh oysters to be found here. At the moment it's a seedling that may some day grow into a small village. Definitely worth a visit. 😎🖒

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was one of our favorite places to stay in Mexico (been travelling for 7 weeks). We had the bungalow that they offer which included a pool - we we're lucky there was a silence/meditation retreat so it turned out to be a private pool. Really nice beach as well! If you want to surf, please be aware that you might need to take your own surfboard as there is no place you can rent it on that beach. There are limited dinner places on the beach so you might need to drive for 5 minutes for a cheap bite. Lastly, you can also do a turkey release every day at 5PM at the Centro Ecoturístico La Escobilla - if you do this, you also support the local community that protects the turtles.

Super
